Solving Global Warming
CO2Zero aims to reverse Global Warming eliminating CO2 emissions by capturing them at Point-Source. We then convert captive CO2 to eco-material and distribute eco-material to apply in renewable use. Restoring atmospheric balance and the environment to a level at or below carbon neutrality, CO2zero ™ level, we empower US industries to commit to sustainable cities, CO2Zero Cities ™. CO2zero serves companies in the Energy, Commercial and Industrial sectors, where CO2Zero technology is needed the most.
In our solution phase I, we are able to eliminate up to 30mln of CO2 emissions, that's 30% of annual Southern California emissions in the first year of implementing CO2Zero stations. The CO2Zero Stations ™ are strategically positioned to process CO2 into eco-material for the following principal uses: (1) Carbon Sequestration, (2) Eco-material for Industry, and (3) Renewable Fuels.
Using CO2Zero, allows our customers to adopt new approaches in Sustainability, while keeping up with their production plans and staying CO2Zero. We provide Data Delivery Solutions to support our customers in this process. Becoming CO2Zero Enterprises ™, our customers become part of the CO2Zero Cities ™ and part of CO2Zero Grid ™, a CO2 emissions' clearing infrastructure of connected CO2Zero stations.
We are currently developing our solution phase II to expand recycling of CO2 and our market applications. With the current CO2Zero capture system able to capture 100% of emissions at Point-Source, we intend to scale our solution to supply the US market and Canada with CO2Zero technology and eco-materials, and to make CO2Zero a global solution. We are looking to grow our team. Please get in touch with us to find out more about CO2Zero.
CO2Zero | Where we are needed the most
It's projected that global surface temperature rise will exceed 1.4 degrees Celsius and by the year 2100 will reach 4.1 degrees Celsius above the pre-industrial levels, according to the International Energy Agency. Rise in sea level, changes in world climate and irreversible changes in ecosystem are a result of the global temperature increase. The major factor of global warming is the increasing concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere, where annual emissions exceed 33 bln tons. Ozone depletion from toxic substances entering atmosphere, as well as lower soil Carbon content from over consumption and destruction of forest growth are contributing factors.
Fossil Fuels of Coal, Oil and Natural Gas, being primary sources of energy production have been a dominating cause of 87% global CO2 emissions. Renewable sources, including solar, wind, hydro, biofuels and others, are at the centre of the transition to a less carbon-intensive and more sustainable energy system in the past decades, comprising 26% of world energy in 2018.
Nevertheless, the Energy landscape remains marked by a fossil carbon footprint of 4.8 billion tons in the US, which is 14% of world emissions, and characterizes the sectors of the US Economy as follows: 2.1 bln tons in Energy Production, 1.72 bln tons in Transportation, 0.5 bln tons in Residential and Commercial Building emissions and 0.43 bln tons in Manufacturing and Construction ("Industrial Sector") as of 2018. It's a CO2Zero commitment to change this landscape to a renewable carbon-based economy.
CO2Zero
| Eco-materials for Industry
Durability and Energy Savings
CO2Zero Eco-material solutions assure zero waste and supply automakers with Carbon Black, electrical resistant material, which decreases tire road wear abrasion by 40%. Tensile strength of tires is found to increase from 2MPa to 14 Mpa.
CO2Zero temperature resistant eco-materials, containing carbon black and biochar, are also supplied to the Construction industry, where their insulation, durability and adsorption properties, close to zero heat-exchange and temperature stability, result in energy savings and thermally proof Residential and Commercial buildings.
CO2Zero | Carbon Sequestration
Forest Sustainability Impact
For sequestration of agricultural and forest growth, we supply Biochar. The Biochar is mixed into soil to improve its hydration and porosity, and to control humidity. It produces up to 41% growth in forests and up to 25% in agricultural crops. For Livestock, use of Biochar results in up to 22% reduction of methane emissions.
We supply Activated Carbon for water filtration by Public Utilities and shoreline filtration. The water quality improvement in drinking water is characterized by decrease in chlorine levels by over 50%, and decrease in lead levels of over 95% due to binding properties of activated carbon.
CO2Zero | Renewable Fuels Human Safety
Safer than diesel by a factor of 240 times and than gasoline by a factor of 1900 times, Methanol is a renewable fuel acquiring increasing demand in the auto industry. Less harmful to humans in terms of lethal concentration in water, Methanol emits less carbon than gasoline by 15-20%.
CO2Zero production of Methanol represents 50% of our commodity output from CO2 conversion.
